Thank You Kind Souls

We managed to set up a booth yesterday for a good 6 hours thanks to our President, Aznyda who faithfully managed the booth despite being alone and bored.

We would like to thank all of the students and lecturers for their monetary donations as well as contributions in the form of clothes and food. We will make sure that the donations will reach the flood victims, insya-Allah. We are sure that they too will be thanking the donors in their prayers.

Next up is The Malaysian National Qualifying Tournament of the 2007 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.

Tabung Derma Kemanusiaan Banjr

In playing our part to help the community, the MPP Law Secretariat will be setting up a booth where we will be collecting donations in the form of money, clothes, food as well as books in aid of the recent flood victims around Malaysia.

As we all know, the flood victims have suffered many losses. Their homes as well as possessions have been ruined due to the flood. Thus, we would like all of your contributions which will be handed to the victims to help them rebuild their lives. There is an estimation that almost RM 350 million will be needed for national flood repairs. With such a big amount needed, each and everyone's help is much appreciated.

Details of the booth are as follows :

Date : 24th and 25th of January 2007 (Wednesday and Thursday)
Venue : Level 4 Lobby, Law Faculty UiTM
Time : 1230 pm - 230pm
